DQM analysis of skewed and trapezoidal laminated plates

Composite Structures, 2003
In this paper a differential quadrature method is applied for static, free vibration, and stability analysis of skewed and trapezoidal composite thin plates. To mechanize the modelling procedure, a general transformation scheme is employed to transfer the variation of the variables in the computational to the physical domain and vice versa.

DQM: An Overlay Scheme for Quality of Service Differentiation in Source Specific Multicast

2003
In this paper we propose a new scheme named DQM (Differentiated QoS Multicast) based on the Source Specific Multicast (SSM) [7] model in order to provide limited and qualitative QoS channels to support heterogeneous end users. Similar to the DiffServ paradigm, in DQM the network is configured to provide finite QoS service levels to both content ...

Vibration and buckling analysis of circular arches using DQM

Computers & Structures, 1996
The differential quadrature method (DQM) is applied to computation of the eigenvalues of the equations of motion governing the free in-plane vibration including extensibility of the arch axis and the coupled out-of-plane twist-bending vibrations of circular arches.

[A program devoted to dose and quality in mammography (DQM)].

La Radiologia medica, 1986
Radiological units present different exposure values, (even by a factor 100), for the same radiological examination unless special programs are performed in order to optimize the examinations and to reduce variations. The program named DQM, mentioned in the Circular n. 62 of the Ministry of Health, is planned for mammographic optimization. The steps of

Non-classical boundary conditions and DQM for double-beams

Mechanics Research Communications, 2007
Abstract The present paper deals with the free vibrations of parallel double-beams joined by a Winkler-type homogeneous elastic foundation. The numerical approach adopted for solving two partial differential equations system is the differential quadrature method (henceforth DQM). A first-rate description of this approach has been furnished by Bert et

DQM: Data Quality Metrics for AI Components in the Industry

Proceedings of the AAAI Symposium Series
In industrial settings, measuring the quality of data used to represent an intended domain of use and its operating conditions is crucial and challenging. Thus, this paper aims to present a set of metrics addressing this data quality issue in the form of a library, named DQM (Data Quality Metrics), for Machine Learning (ML) use.

Vibration analysis of thin-walled curved beams using DQM

Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology, 2007
The differential quadrature method (DQM) is applied to computation of the eigenvalues of small amplitude free vibration for thin-walled curved beams including a warping contribution. Natural frequencies are calculated for singlespan, curved, wide-flange uniform beams having a range of nondimensional parameters representing variations in warping ...
