Determination of the Wound Healing Potentials of Medicinal Plants Historically Used in Ghana
The present study was carried out to investigate the wound healing potentials of 17 medicinal plants historically used in Ghana for wound healing. Warm and cold water extracts were prepared from the 17 dried plant species and tested in vitro in the scratch assay with NIH 3T3 fibroblasts from mice.

Pet and Stray Dogs’ Contribution to Zoonotic Transmission Pathways: A Bibliometric Review
Based on a large‐scale bibliometric dataset, domestic dogs (Canis lupus familiaris) emerge as the most frequently cited host species in the context of zoonoses, being mentioned in at least 10% of publications for nearly a quarter of the pathogens recognized as zoonotic to humans.

The intermediate hosts of Dracunculus medinensis in Northern Region, Ghana [PDF]
Cyclopoid copepods were collected over a period of 17 months from six man-made water reservoirs in an area of northern Ghana where dracunculiasis is endemic. The numbers and species of cyclopoid copepods as well as the species naturally infected with Dracunculus medinensis larvae were recorded at fortinightly intervals.
