Forty-six species representing 36 genera and 11 families of Odonata were identified from limestone habitats in Ban. Thirty-eight taxa were identified down to species level, the rest to genus level only. All of them are new records not only for the Bau Limestone but also for limestone habitats in Sarawak.

The dragonfly algorithm (DA) is a new metaheuristic optimization algorithm, which is based on simulating the swarming behavior of dragonfly individuals. This algorithm was developed by Mirjalili (2016) and the preliminary studies illustrated its potential in solving numerous benchmark optimization problems and complex computational fluid dynamics (CFD)

DragonFly is an application designed for reviewing lecture recordings of mind map-structured presentations. Instead of using a timeline slider, the lecture recording is controlled by selecting elements located at different positions on the map. Hence, video time is controlled by navigating in space.

Dragonflies and Damselflies – Odonata
2013Dragonflies and damselflies comprise one of the eldest orders of insects; moreover, their appearance remained almost unaltered for as many as 150 million years. They have about 5,000 species inhabiting the terrestrial habitats all over the world except for the arctic regions.
