Comparative Study of 5-Level ANPC and 2-Level Inverter-Based VSGs Under Optimized Control

open access: yesJournal of Techniques
This study examines the performance of a 5-level Active Neutral Point Clamped (ANPC) inverter as a Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) optimized using the Dragonfly Algorithm and compared to a traditional 2-level inverter-based VSG.

Establishment of Human Formative Pluripotent Stem Cell‐Like Cells Exhibiting Amniotic Differentiation Potentials

open access: yesCell Proliferation, Volume 59, Issue 8, August 2026.
The hfPSC‐LCs could be established from naïve hESCs, conventional hESCs, hiPSCs, and human blastocysts. The hfPSC‐LCs hold robust capacity for three germ layers, hPGCLCs, and hALPCs. ABSTRACT Human embryos undergo pivotal morphogenetic remodelling shortly after implantation. The understanding of this crucial stage is severely impeded by the scarcity of

Visible, near‐, and thermal infrared spectra of asteroid Bennu samples: Relationship to and implications for remote sensing of carbonaceous asteroids

open access: yesMeteoritics &Planetary Science, Volume 61, Issue 8, Page 1788-1805, August 2026.
Abstract Remote spectroscopy is used to characterize the mineralogy and infer the history of planetary bodies. Carbonaceous asteroids, such as B‐type (101955) Bennu, represent the earliest stages of planet formation. B types have a blue (negative) spectral slope and comprise <5% of asteroids.

Low Cycle Repetitive Loading of Ti‐6Al‐4V‐Epoxy Composite Lattice Structures for Enhanced Energy Dissipation and Damage Tolerance

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 28, Issue 14, 22 July 2026.
Composite Ti–6Al–4V–epoxy lattice structures are additively manufactured and epoxy infiltrated for cyclic loading. At low lattice volume fractions, hybridization produces synergistic gains in stiffness and energy dissipation. At higher volume fractions, synergy diminishes, although composites still exceed metallic lattices in specific energy ...
