A charge injection layer is introduced via RIE to decouple the dual functions of the source electrode: lowering contact resistance through doping to enhance charge injection, while SAM modification on the top surface minimizes leakage current. This strategy enables OSBTs to achieve a high on/off ratio with improved stability and performance.

Flow coupling during three-phase gravity drainage [PDF]
We measure the three-phase oil relative permeability k(ro) by conducting unsteady-state drainage experiments in a 0.8 m water-wet sand pack. We find that when starting from capillary-trapped oil, k(ro) shows a strong dependence on both the flow of water ...

This study establishes a materials‐driven framework for entropy generation within standard CMOS technology. By electrically rebalancing gate‐oxide traps and Si‐channel defects in foundry‐fabricated FDSOI transistors, the work realizes in‐materia control of temporal correlation – achieving task adaptive entropy optimization for reinforcement learning ...

Random oriented trees: A model of drainage networks
Consider the d-dimensional lattice Z^d where each vertex is ``open'' or ``closed'' with probability p or 1-p, respectively. An open vertex v is connected by an edge to the closest open vertex w such that the dth co-ordinates of v and w satisfy w(d)=v(d)-1. In case of nonuniqueness of such a vertex w, we choose any one of the closest vertices with equal

Modelling soil erosion and transport in the Burrishoole catchment, Newport, Co. Mayo, Ireland [PDF]
The Burrishoole catchment is situated in County Mayo, on the northwest coast of the Republic of Ireland. Much of the catchment is covered by blanket peat that, in many areas, has become heavily eroded in recent years. This is thought to be due, primarily,
