Weak MPCEP and *CEPMP inverses
We generalize the systems of equations, which introduced the MPCEP and *CEPMP inverses, using a minimal rank weak Drazin inverse and a minimal rank right weak Drazin inverse.

ABSTRACT In this paper, we propose a new parametric family of iterative schemes to compute the inverse of a complex nonsingular matrix. It is shown that the members of this family have at least a fourth order of convergence. A particular element of the class is extended to approximate the Moore–Penrose inverse of rectangular complex matrices, keeping ...

A Matrix Iteration for Finding Drazin Inverse with Ninth-Order Convergence
The aim of this paper is twofold. First, a matrix iteration for finding approximate inverses of nonsingular square matrices is constructed. Second, how the new method could be applied for computing the Drazin inverse is discussed.

Abstract Sudden Stratospheric Warmings (SSW) and Elevated Stratopause (ES) events are mid‐to‐high latitudinal, atmospheric wave‐driven phenomena leading to significant changes in wind, temperatures, and vertical mass transport, especially at stratospheric and mesospheric altitudes.

Determinantal Representations of the Core Inverse and Its Generalizations with Applications
In this paper, we give the direct method to find of the core inverse and its generalizations that is based on their determinantal representations. New determinantal representations of the right and left core inverses, the right and left core-EP inverses,

The Drazin inverse of matrices is applied to the analysis of pointwise completeness and pointwise degeneracy of fractional descriptor linear continuous-time systems. It is shown that (i) descriptor linear continuous-time systems are pointwise complete if

Abstract This paper investigates the day‐to‐day global tidal variability in the ionosphere/thermosphere system due to fluctuations in the strength of the northern hemisphere stratospheric polar vortex. Using COSMIC‐2 (Constellation Observing System for Meteorology, Ionosphere, and Climate‐2) Global Ionospheric Specification data, ionospheric tides are ...

Symbolic computation of Drazin inverses by specializations
In this paper, we show how to reduce the computation of Drazin inverses over certain computable fields to the computation of Drazin inverses of matrices with rational functions as entries. As a consequence we derive a symbolic algorithm to compute the Drazin inverse of matrices whose entries are elements of a finite transcendental field extension of a ...

Some Results for the Drazin Inverses of the Sum of Two Matrices and Some Block Matrices
We give a formula of (P+Q)D under the conditions P2Q+QPQ=0, P3Q=0, and PQPQ=0. Then, we apply it to give some expressions for the Drazin inverse of block matrix M=(ABCD) (A and D are square matrices) under some conditions, generalizing some recent ...

IGMRES method for linear systems [PDF]
The Index Generalized Minimal RESidual (IGMRES) algorithm is designed to compute the Drazin-inverse solution of a linear system of equations $Ax=b$, where $A$ is an arbitrary square matrix with index $\gamma$.
