ABSTRACT Background Adoption of additive manufacture of printed typodonts within dentistry for education occurs despite inadequate reproduction of desirable tactile characteristics of human tooth tissues. Variable findings regarding material properties and educational outcomes of 3D‐printed typodonts are reported.
