Self‐standing, strong sulfonated covalent organic framework membranes with varied ionic‐group density are developed for osmotic energy conversion. Optimized charge‐governed nanochannels enable highly selective ion transport, delivering a power density of 24.53 W m−2 under seawater/freshwater salinity gradients.

This project developed a smart bandage‐like patch (a microneedle array) for repairing diabetic bone damage. It intelligently senses signals from infection and inflammation, then releases its medicines in a specific, timed sequence: first an antibacterial agent, then an anti‐inflammatory agent, and finally growth factors.

Drilling Riser System Analysis for Ultra-deepwater
Master해양 시추기술의 발달과 더불어 시추가능 수심 또한 깊어져 왔다. 1897년 캘리포니아 서머랜드에서 시작된 35 ft 수심의 시추기술은 현재 초심해인 12,000 ft까지 시추가 가능하도록 발전됐다. 최근 15,000 ft 수심, 20k psi 유정압력 사양의 시추선 개발이 새로이 각광을 받고 있으며, 실제로 오일 메이저 사(社)와 조선소, 그리고 장비 제작업체간의 협력을 통해 차세대 시추설비의 개발 초기단계에 있다.
