ELECTRONIC DRIVE SYSTEM

1998
The invention relates to an electronic drive system providing enhanced electromagnetic compatibility by using alternating current torque motors without slip rings or collectors. The inventive drive system has a simple structure and is easy to control since multiphase stator windings of alternating current motors can be pulse controlled using a multi ...

Driving systems with chaotic signals

Physical Review A, 1992
Negativity of the conditional Lyapunov exponents is a necessary and in many cases a sufficient condition for the occurrence of synchronization between a chaotic drive and the response subsystem. Treating one of the variables of coupled logistic maps as the drive, our numerical simulations show that the negativity of the conditional Lyapunov exponents ...

Driving systems with chaotic signals

Physical Review A, 1991
We generalize the idea of driving a stable system to the situation when the drive signal is chaotic. This leads to the concept of conditional Lyapunov exponents and also generalizes the usual criteria of the linear stability theorem. We show that driving with chaotic signals can be done in a robust fashion, rather insensitive to changes in system ...

DRIVING TRAJECTORIES IN CHAOTIC SYSTEMS

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2001
This work presents the main ideas and the fundamental procedures for guiding trajectories on chaotic systems and for stabilizing chaotic orbits, all with the use of small perturbations. We consider an extension of the Ott–Grebogi–Yorke method of controlling chaos and an associated procedure for guiding trajectories on chaotic sets of high dimensional ...

Systems Analysis of Driving Simulation

Human Factors: The Journal of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, 1964
System analysis procedures as applied to driving simulators must accomplish several bask tasks: (1) they must identify the system components and interactions that are to be simulated; (2) they must specify the degree of simulation of each component in the system. In this case, the extent to which the automobile and the environment are to be reproduced

Drunken driving and rash driving prevention system

2010 International Conference on Mechanical and Electrical Technology, 2010
As is needless to say; a majority of accidents, which occur, are due to drunk driving. As such, there is no effective mechanism to prevent this. Here we have designed an integrated system for the same purpose. Alcohol content in the driver's body is detected by means of an infrared breath analyzer placed at the steering wheel.

S-Drive: A smart driving direction system

2014 International Conference on Control, Instrumentation, Communication and Computational Technologies (ICCICCT), 2014
This paper presents a smart driving direction system using the experience of taxi drivers. In this system, GPS-enabled phones are used for collecting the data's from the road environment. Here, the backbone of the proposed system is Weighted Query Results Based on Ranking of Trusted Data algorithm.

DC Drive Systems

1991
In section 2.5 we have seen that the speed of a classical DC motor is easily controlled by varying the voltage applied to the armature; but available power sources — mains or batteries — are essentially fixed voltage. Techniques of power electronics enable a variable voltage to be derived from one of these sources; the combination of an electronic ...

Driving assistance systems

2014
On average, someone dies every minute somewhere in the world as a result of a traffic accident. Bosch pursues the aim of reducing the frequency and the severity of accidents by developing active and passive driving assistance systems.
