Cross-subject Driver Fatigue Detection Based on Local and Global Feature Integrated Network [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji kexue
Driver fatigue detection plays a crucial role in reducing traffic accidents.Electroencephalogram(EEG) signals, recognized as effective indicators that directly reflect a driver's mental state, are widely acknowledged as valuable tools for fatigue detection.

Driver Fatigue Detection Method Based on Human Pose Information Entropy

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Transportation, 2022
Driver fatigue detection (DFD) is an effective method to prevent traffic accidents. The existing research on DFD using facial features is an effective and noninvasive fatigue detection method.

A Low-Cost Prototype for Driver Fatigue Detection

open access: yesMultimodal Technologies and Interaction, 2019
Driver fatigue and inattention accounts for up to 20% of all traffic accidents, therefore any system that can warn the driver whenever fatigue occurs proves to be useful.

A PERCLOS-based Driver Fatigue Detection based Driver Fatigue Detection [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Drowsy driving is a major reason, though elusive, triggering traffic crashes according recently investigation result. Image processing is a kind of multi-dimension signal processing.

Parent Quality of Life at Two Years Following Their Child's Completion of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Treatment

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Parents of children treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often experience significant caregiver burden and disruption to their well‐being. While parent quality of life (QoL) during treatment is well characterized, little is known about outcomes during early survivorship.

EEG-Based User Reaction Time Estimation Using Riemannian Geometry Features [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Riemannian geometry has been successfully used in many brain-computer interface (BCI) classification problems and demonstrated superior performance. In this paper, for the first time, it is applied to BCI regression problems, an important category of BCI

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

An Improved Fatigue Detection System Based on Behavioral Characteristics of Driver

open access: yes, 2017
In recent years, road accidents have increased significantly. One of the major reasons for these accidents, as reported is driver fatigue. Due to continuous and longtime driving, the driver gets exhausted and drowsy which may lead to an accident ...

Re‐Awakening Public Attention to the Silent Pandemic of Cancer Among Older Adults in Low‐ and Middle‐Income Countries

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT As global populations age, cancer is increasingly becoming a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among older adults, particularly in low‐ and middle‐income countries (LMICs). Despite accounting for the majority of new cancer cases and deaths, older individuals remain underrepresented in cancer research, clinical guidelines, and health ...
