Driver monitoring algorithm for advanced driver assistance systems
2016 24th Telecommunications Forum (TELFOR), 2016Fast expansion of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) market and applications has resulted in a high demand for various accompanying algorithms. In this paper we present an implementation of Driver monitoring algorithm. Main goal of the algorithm is to automatically asses if driver is tired and in that case, raise a proper alert.

Driver Drowsiness Monitoring System
2020The main goal of this project is to develop a non-intrusive system for vehicles that can find the driver’s tiredness and concern a warning with time. Because there are a great number of traffic accidents due to fatigue of the drivers, this system aspires to avoid many crashes on roads, thus saving money and minimizing personal suffering.

DRIVER VIGILANCE MONITORING - NEW DEVELOPMENTS
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2002Driver drowsiness is a major cause of traffic crashes all over the world. The real time detection and assessment of driver impairment through non-intrusive driver drowsiness detection system is a real challenge. Within this paper a quick overview of former development related with driver monitoring system is given.

Driver monitoring for a human-centered driver assistance system
Proceedings of the 1st ACM international workshop on Human-centered multimedia, 2006Driving is a very complex task which, at its core, involves the interaction between the driver and his/her environment. It is therefore extremely important to develop driver assistance systems that are centered around the driver from the ground up. In this paper, we explore one aspect of such a system.

Classifiers for driver activity monitoring
Transportation Research Part C: Emerging Technologies, 2007The goal of this work is the detection and classification of driver activities in an automobile using computer vision. To this end, this paper presents a novel two-step classification algorithm, namely, an unsupervised clustering algorithm for grouping the actions of a driver during a certain period of time, followed by a supervised activity ...

Driver State Monitor from DELPHI
2005 IEEE Computer Society Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR'05), 2005We present an automotive-grade, real-time, vision-based driver state monitor. Upon detecting and tracking the driver's facial features, the system analyzes eye-closures and head pose to infer his/her fatigue or distraction. This information is used to warn the driver and to modulate the actions of other safety systems. The purpose of this monitor is to

Monitoring Driver Behaviour with BackPocketDriver
2019Road safety is an international public health issue with youth drivers being grossly overrepresented in road crash fatalities and injuries. Our work centres on the use of smartphone technology to deliver an intervention that aims to improve driving behaviour. In this paper we describe the technical design of our BackPocketDriver app, which monitors key
