Smart driver monitoring system
Multimedia Tools and Applications, 2021Driver fatigue and drowsiness is an ever-rising issue that could place a lot of entities at risk. The associated problems are not only dangerous for the driver and the passenger but they pose a negative image on an industry that functions using drivers that work long hours in tough road conditions.

Driver State Monitoring System
Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Big Data and Internet of Things, 2019Traffic crashes cause a lot of fatality and injuries every year. Robust and reliable driver monitoring system is an important step toward achieving higher vehicle autonomy level, as well as insuring the road safety and preventing road accidents. Driver states such as distraction and fatigue cause a decrease in driving performance.

Driver Monitoring Systems: Design Considerations for Aging Drivers
AHFE International, 2023A number of automotive manufacturers including General Motors and Tesla offer vehicles with advanced semi-autonomous driving functions that the driver is expected to monitor. Monitoring by the human driver is essential given that these systems are known to have difficulty handling driving situations that human drivers negotiate easily.

Driver Drowsiness Monitoring System
2020The main goal of this project is to develop a non-intrusive system for vehicles that can find the driver’s tiredness and concern a warning with time. Because there are a great number of traffic accidents due to fatigue of the drivers, this system aspires to avoid many crashes on roads, thus saving money and minimizing personal suffering.

Driver monitoring algorithm for advanced driver assistance systems
2016 24th Telecommunications Forum (TELFOR), 2016Fast expansion of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) market and applications has resulted in a high demand for various accompanying algorithms. In this paper we present an implementation of Driver monitoring algorithm. Main goal of the algorithm is to automatically asses if driver is tired and in that case, raise a proper alert.

Chromatic driver fatigue monitoring system
2023Sleep related vehicle accidents have been under publicised but remains as one of the main causes of road traffic accidents, as much as drink driving. This research aims to reduce this worldwide problem by developing a system to monitor fatigue driving.

Automatic Checkout Systems to Monitor Driver's Vigilance
Critical Reviews in Biomedical Engineering, 2001A concept for designing automatic checkout systems to prevent drivers from falling asleep is presented. It is shown that such systems should use the frequency of electrodermal reactions (EDR), which is governed by changes in skin resistance. Such changes have a time constant of several seconds.

Smart Driver Monitoring System Using AI
2021This chapter provides a contemporary solution to driver drowsiness and fatigue detection on-board whilst the driver is driving the car. The mechanism provided is both non-intrusive relatively and involves the use of artificial intelligence networks. This would aid in providing accurate and desired results thereby avoiding damage generally caused due to

Driver monitoring for a human-centered driver assistance system
Proceedings of the 1st ACM international workshop on Human-centered multimedia, 2006Driving is a very complex task which, at its core, involves the interaction between the driver and his/her environment. It is therefore extremely important to develop driver assistance systems that are centered around the driver from the ground up. In this paper, we explore one aspect of such a system.
