Driver Monitoring System

open access: yesINTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT
Abstract The Driver Monitoring System (DMS) is an innovative solution aimed at reducing road accidents caused by driver fatigue, distraction, and other unsafe behaviors. Leveraging advanced technologies like Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and YOLO object detection models, the system monitors critical parameters such as eye movements, blinking ...

An Automatic Monitoring System for Vehicle Drivers

open access: yes, 2016
— it is a key issue to prevent life and property from the accidents caused by vehicle drivers. Alcohol can, speed, drowsy driving, and sudden heart attack are the major reasons for road accidents, which can lead to severe physical injuries, deaths, and serious economic losses.

Perspectives in educating molecular pathologists on liquid biopsy: Toward integrative, equitable, and decentralized precision oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Liquid biopsy enables minimally invasive, real‐time molecular profiling through analysis of circulating biomarkers in biological fluids. This Perspective highlights the importance of training pathologists through integrative educational programs, such as the European Masters in Molecular Pathology, to ensure effective and equitable implementation of ...

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

Fuzzy-based driver monitoring system

open access: yesINTERANTIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT
This paper presents an all-around approach to enhancing road safety through a fuzzy driver tracking system integrated with VANET technology, IoT devices, and hardware wristbands. The increasing prevalence of road accidents is caused by factors such as driver fatigue, health disorders, or inattention to this system, which effectively detects and ...

Driver monitoring system for automotive safety

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2018
The lifestyle of a person is a very active one from all points of view. He travels great distance every day, with car or on foot. Tiredness and stress is found in every person. These can cause major problems when driving up and driving in small or big distances by car.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Feasibility Study For In-Vehicle Detection of Severe Cardiac Events

open access: yesInternational Journal of Automotive Engineering, 2018
Cardiovascular diseases are highly prevalent and fatal medical conditions cause many adult deaths annually. The occurrence of a debilitating cardiac condition while driving could suddenly render a driver unable to safely operate a vehicle, including ...
