Thermal risk of seed germination of UK's plant populations and implications for climate‐smart ecological restoration

open access: yesRestoration Ecology, Volume 34, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract Introduction Seed‐based ecological restoration actions are needed to halt biodiversity loss and mitigate climate change effects. However, identifying populations to target for climate‐ready seed sourcing remains a major challenge due to germination and genetic constraints.

An Unforeseen Diagnosis After Liver Transplantation for Acute Liver Failure: Extranodal NK/T‐Cell Lymphoma

open access: yesCase Reports in Hepatology, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Acute liver failure (ALF) is a medical emergency characterized by hepatic encephalopathy in patients with recent‐onset jaundice and coagulopathy. We present a case of a patient who developed ALF secondary to NK/T‐cell lymphoma, with the diagnosis confirmed via histopathological analysis of the explanted after liver transplantation.

CVD‐Engineered Ni and FeNi Catalysts on Hexagonal Boron Nitride for Efficient CO2‐Methane Co‐Conversion to Syngas: High‐Performance Alternatives to Traditional Alumina‐Supported Catalysts

open access: yesInternational Journal of Energy Research, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This study presents a sustainable approach for mitigating greenhouse gas emissions by converting methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) into syngas using nickel‐based catalysts supported on hexagonal boron nitride (hBN), synthesized through chemical vapor deposition (CVD).
