Serial 1H-NMR Spectroscopy Study of Metabolic Impairment in Primates Chronically Treated with the Succinate Dehydrogenase Inhibitor 3-Nitropropionic Acid

open access: yesNeurobiology of Disease, 1999
Previous studies in primates have shown that chronic systemic administration of the succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) inhibitor, 3-nitropropionic acid (3NP), replicates most of the motor, cognitive, and histopathological features of Huntington's disease.

Alloying Cu, Fe, and Co in Ni/YSZ Electrodes for High‐Temperature CO2 Electrolysis: Impact on TPB Density, Activity, and Carbon Deposition Resistance

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
Systematic alloying of Ni with Cu, Fe, and Co in Ni/YSZ electrodes modifies active site density up to 43%, decreases activation energies by up to 44%, and reduces carbon deposition fourfold. Cu–Ni alloy is among the most promising alloy catalysts for electrochemical CO2 reduction in SOECs.

A Generalized DRM Architectural Framework

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2011
Online digital goods distribution environment lead to the need for a system to protect digital intellectual property. Digital Rights Management (DRM) is the system born to protect and control distribution and use of those digital assets.

In Situ Methanation on Mars: A Process Concept Study on the Impact of H2/CO2 and Recycle Ratio

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.
The rocket propellant methane can be produced on Mars by in situ resource utilization. The H2/CO2 ratio is decisive, and excess H2 is favored for providing sufficient propellant purity. The operation mode—with or without recycling of unreacted reactants—depends on the resource availability of the selected landing site. Abstract For return missions from

A study of Ni‐Co/CeO2 catalyst derived from metal–organic framework for dry reforming of methane

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
Abstract The efficacy of cobalt‐doped, MOF‐derived catalysts for dry reforming of methane (DRM) was examined. The focus was on the influence of varying nickel and cobalt molar ratios on catalytic performance. Three catalysts with Ni:Co ratios of 1:1, 1:0.5, and 0.5:1, were synthesized and tested with cerium oxide as a constant support. The DRM reaction

Random forest regression for catalyst performance prediction and validation of tri‐reforming of methane (TRM)

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
Abstract Carbon dioxide‐reduced hydrogen can be synthesized through various methods such as dry‐reforming (DRM), steam reforming (SMR), and partial oxidation (POX). Tri‐reforming of methane (TRM) is a promising technology which combines all the above‐mentioned processes for the simultaneous production of hydrogen and syngas with high energy efficiency.
