A new unenlagiine (Theropoda, Dromaeosauridae) from the Upper Cretaceous of Brazil

open access: closedPapers in Palaeontology, 2021
The record of unenlagiines in Brazil, except for one dorsal vertebra, is still under debate based on isolated teeth. Here, we describe Ypupiara lopai gen. et sp. nov., the first dromaeosaurid species from Brazil, from the Maastrichtian of the Bauru Group,

Osteology and reassessment of Dineobellator notohesperus, a southern eudromaeosaur (Theropoda: Dromaeosauridae: Eudromaeosauria) from the latest Cretaceous of New Mexico

open access: closedThe Anatomical Record, 2022
Dromaeosaurids (Theropoda: Dromaeosauridae), a group of dynamic, swift predators, have a sparse fossil record, particularly at the end of the Cretaceous Period.

A New Theropod Dinosaur (Theropoda, Dromaeosauridae) from the Late Cretaceous of Tajikistan

open access: closedDoklady Earth Sciences, 2021
A new dromaeosaurid theropod dinosaur, Kansaignathus sogdianus gen. et sp. nov., is described based on a dentary from the Yalovach Formation (Santonian) at Kansai locality in northern Fergana Valley (Tajikistan) collected by Paleontological Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR in 1963–1964.

Ontogenetic dietary shifts in Deinonychus antirrhopus (Theropoda; Dromaeosauridae): Insights into the ecology and social behavior of raptorial dinosaurs through stable isotope analysis

open access: closedPalaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology, 2020
Abstract The image of the highly intelligent, pack-hunting raptor has become engrained in scientific literature and popular works alike. First proposed to explain the relatively common co-occurrence of the large-bodied iguanodontian Tenontosaurus tilletti and the wolf-sized Deinonychus antirrhopus from the Lower Cretaceous of North America, a canid ...

First record of the family Dromaeosauridae (Dinosauria: Theropoda) in the Cretaceous of Gondwana (Wadi Milk Formation, northern Sudan)

open access: closedPaläontologische Zeitschrift, 1995
The Cenomanian Wadi Milk Formation in Sudan yielded a rich continental vertebrate fauna. Apart from big theropod fragments, some disarticulated elements of a pes and a tooth indicate the presence of a dromaeosaurid theropod in the Late Cretaceous of Sudan. This is the first record of this theropod family from Gondwanian continents.

New data on the Dromaeosauridae (Dinosauria: Theropoda) from the Late Cretaceous of southern France

open access: closedBulletin de la Société Géologique de France, 2009
Abstract Since the first discovery of dromaeosaurid remains from the Late Cretaceous of southern France, two genera and species, Variraptor mechinorumLe Loeuff & Buffetaut, 1998, and Pyroraptor olympiusAllain & Taquet, 2000, have been erected. Their validity and possible synonymy have been debated.
