Signals, Red Lines, and Collision: The Israel‐Iran Spiral and US Intervention
Abstract The Iran War erupted in February 2026 without UN authorization, and Washington's rationales—Iranian nuclear ambitions, missile capacity, and proxy threats—map more closely onto Israeli than US security interests. Why have we seen two major conflicts between these belligerents in less than one year?

Spaceborne Radar Technologies for Earth Remote Sensing
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is an indispensable source of information in earth observation since SAR is the only spaceborne sensor that has highresolution, all-weather and day-and-night imaging capability.

From Palestine Ally to Zionist Partner: India‐Israel Relations, 2014–2025
Abstract India's pro‐Palestinian diplomatic posture, which held for nearly 70 years, has been transformed within a single decade of rule by the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), turning New Delhi into one of Israel's most consequential Asian partners. This shift has narrowed the coalition supporting the Palestinian cause.

Synergy between synthetic aperture radar and other sensors for the remote sensing of the ocean
Over the last decades, satellite remote sensing has proved to be a valuable and effective tool for monitoring physical and biological ocean processes. However there are cases where data from one remote sensor alone cannot be interpreted unambiguously. In

Automatic snow layer detection in drone-borne radar data using edge detection and morphology
The thesis aims to detect the primary interfaces in ground-penetrating radar (GPR) data collected from a snow-pack. An airborne drone was used to collect the data, where a 2D image of the substructures was gattered, including GPS and laser altimeter data. Al these were used under the thesis to develop the method or presentation of the results.

Retrieving hydrometeor motions using space-borne EarthCARE Doppler radar
EarthCARE space-borne radar will be the first radar in space with Doppler capability, enabling measurements of vertical motions of hydrometeors. The vertical velocity is very useful in classifying precipitating systems (convective systems versus ...
