Preventing drone hijacking by authenticating drone operator

open access: yesJournal of Computer Virology and Hacking Techniques
Abstract This research proposes a new approach of implementing machine learning models such that, when applied to a drone, it will be able to accurately identify and maintain the authenticity of the entity sending the control data to the drone.

Bandgap‐Engineered AlGaAs/GaAs Heterostructures for Wavelength‐Selective Dual‐Polarity Photoelectrochemistry

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Bandgap‐engineered AlGaAs/GaAs heterostructures exhibit wavelength‐selective dual‐polarity photoelectrochemistry, switching from photocathodic to photoanodic response depending on excitation wavelength. The polarity transition is governed by band‐selective absorption, built‐in electric‐field‐driven carrier transport, and interfacial charge‐transfer ...

Water Permeates and Plasticizes Amorphous Carbon Dots: Unraveling the Inner Accessibility of the Nanoparticles by Glass Transition Studies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The water permeability of amorphous carbon dots (CDs) is demonstrated by investigating their plasticization. Novel polyamide‐based and amorphous nanoparticles are synthesized by controlling their inner packing density. Water plasticization is evidenced by the decrease of the CDs glass transition temperature with increasing the hydration degree.
