Analog Switching in Hexagonal Boron Nitride Memristors via Multiple Nano‐Filaments Confinement

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Hexagonal boron nitride memristors with suspended structures over GaN nano‐cones enable linear and symmetric analog switching through multiple nano‐filament confinement, overcoming challenges from abrupt switching. This work demonstrates reliable synaptic weight updates for artificial neural networks, with high classification accuracy in MNIST tasks ...

Complex Janus MoSSe Nanoscrolls Spontaneously Formed from Flat Nanoflakes: A Theoretical Exploration

open access: yesSmall Structures, EarlyView.
The formation processes of complex Janus MoSSe nanoscrolls from flat triangular and hexagonal nanoflakes are theoretically demonstrated, in which the relaxation of intrinsic strain induced by atomic asymmetry plays as the driving force. A numerical method is alsoproposed to analyze the nanoscrolls by classifying the regions with varying layer numbers ...
