Room‐Temperature Synthesis of Strongly Confined Lead Halide Perovskite Quantum Dots

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
CsPbX3${\rm CsPbX}_3$ lead halide perovskite quantum dots (QDs) are synthesized in a room‐temperature, five‐minute synthesis, yielding size‐controlled QDs with bright, tunable emission governed by reaction conditions and halide composition. A strongly binding ligand, OD‐PEA, ensures months‐long stability under ambient conditions and facilitates their ...

Active particles confined in deformable droplets

open access: yesMolecular Physics
Active particles under soft confinement such as droplets or vesicles present intriguing phenomena, as collective motion emerges alongside the deformation of the environment. A model is employed to systematically investigate droplet morphology and particle distribution in relation to activity and concentration, revealing that active particles have the ...

Electrohydrodynamics of compound droplet in a microfluidic confinement

open access: yes, 2018
The present study deals with the dynamics of a double emulsion confined in a microchannel under the presence of a uniform electric field. Towards investigating the non-trivial electrohydrodynamics of a compound droplet, confined in between two parallel plate electrodes, a phase field approach has been adopted.

Performance Enhancement of Tin Chloride‐Incorporated Ferroelectric Polymer‐Based Artificial Synapse for Hardware Neural Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This paper proposes a highly efficient ferroelectric artificial synapse device based on an oxide semiconductor and SnCl2‐inserted P(VDF‐TrFE) gate dielectric layer. This FeFET significantly improved the synaptic performance due to the ion‐dipole interaction.

Hierarchical Primary‐Secondary Coordination Synchronizes Ion Flux and Sulfur Redox in Solid Polymer Electrolytes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Hierarchical coordination engineering redistributes Li+ from anion‐dominated pairing toward polymer‐mediated binding. Strong primary sites promote salt dissociation, while distributed secondary sites sustain dynamic hopping pathways. This coordination landscape couples ion flux with polysulfide conversion, suppresses transport‐conversion decoupling ...

Diffusion of intrinsically disordered proteins within protein condensates

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
Many intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) may undergo a phase separation to form a biomolecular condensate. Understanding the behavior of individual molecules within condensates is crucial for characterizing their collective physical properties ...
