Coalescence dynamics of unequal sized drops

The Physics of Fluids, 2019
In this study, coalescence dynamics of two unequal sized drops of the same liquid have been investigated using the coupled level set and volume of fluid method.

ACM SIGCOMM Computer Communication Review, 2014
In this paper we focus on geolocating Internet routers, using a methodology for extracting and decoding geography-related strings from fully qualified domain names (hostnames). We first compiled an extensive dictionary associating geographic strings (e.g., airport codes) with geophysical locations.

The Dropping and Dropped Nucleus

2020
Phacoemulsification with posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation within the capsular bag, the gold standard for managing cataracts, requires preservation of the posterior capsular support for successful lens removal and intraocular lens placement.

Drop the Alzheimer's drop test

Neurology, 1998
Ever since the initial report by Scinto1 describing the use of 0.01% tropicamide as a clinical test for the early detection of Alzheimer's disease, I and my mentors (Drs. Irene Loewenfeld and H. Stanley Thompson) have been reluctant, without data of our own, to declare an opinion. According to our view then (and now), time would be the most fair judge.

Drop-on-Demand Drop Generators

2010
This chapter provides information on different types of drop-on-demand drop generators. It starts with thermal or bubble jets, in which a nucleation bubble is used to eject a droplet out of an orifice. This is followed by piezoelectric, pneumatic, microfluidic, electrohydrodynamics (EHD) and aerodynamic droplet generators.
