Resumo Drosera sessilifolia é a única espécie de Droseraceae registrada para as cangas da Serra dos Carajás. Trata-se de uma espécie de ampla distribuição na América do Sul, porém localmente foi encontrada apenas na Serra Sul (S11D).

There are two thread-leaf sundews (also known as dew-threads), known as either infraspecific taxa within Drosera filiformis, or as Drosera filiformis and Drosera tracyi.
