Experimental Gerontology, 1968Abstract Two independent descents have been continued in three populations of Drosophila pseudoobscura which differed in their chromosomal arrangements: CH/AR, CH/CH and AR/AR. Selection was based upon the age of the parents at reproduction, namely 5–10-day-old and 4-week-old parents; the lines which were derived have been termed respectively T and B.
