Drosophilidae of Australia. 4. Mycodrosophila

The Australian Mycodrosophila fauna comprises 21 species distributed in northern and eastern Australia to southern New South Wales. Only one species, M. argentifrons Malloch, is previously described from Australia; the south-east Asian species M. separata (de Meijere) is recorded for the first time.

Three new species of the dipterous family Drosophilidae are de- scribed: Chymomyza olympia from Washington, formerly reported as "?distincta Egger"; Leucophenga neovaria from Florida, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Colombia and Venezuela; and Amiota huachucae from Arizona, formerly reported as albavictoria Patterson and Mainland.
