Abstract Many global and regional climate models predict shifts in the frequency and magnitude of precipitation events. It is unclear how this transition will influence delta and wetland development. We address this knowledge gap via two reduced‐scale physical delta experiments: one with constant discharge and the other with variable discharge.

Counties included in SEER registry and with corresponding data on FEMA‐designated natural disasters. ABSTRACT Background Climate‐related disruptions to the health system may impact cancer outcomes. This may be particularly true for prostate cancer, which greatly contributes to cancer burden while existing on a risk spectrum, leading some men to delay ...

The lacustrine Gördes Supradetachment Basin was developed along the Simav detachment fault during postorogenic extension in the north of the Menderes Massif in western Anatolia. The basin‐fill succession is represented by alluvial fan, Gilbert‐type delta, shoal‐water delta, foreshore, shoreface, offshore‐transition and peat‐forming mire deposits.

We propose that one of the largest known bioconstructions (the Monte Zenone bioherm) in the Southern Alps, northern Italy, and its growth on a tilted and drowned platform block of the Norian Dolomia Principale was controlled by hydrothermal dolomitisation from fault‐controlled fluids during the Late Triassic–Early Jurassic rifting phase. Dolomitisation

Separating Sampling Bias From Abundance Shows That Different Methods Catch Different Wild Bees
Comparing community sampling methods' relative taxonomic biases is critical to interpreting the data they collect, but measuring bias explicitly is difficult when methods also produce different sample sizes. Here, we control for absolute abundance while comparing sample composition and richness of three common methods for sampling wild bee communities.
