Driver Drowsiness Detection

2021
Driver’s drowsiness is considered as a major reason behind accidents on road, around the globe. Driving nonstop for a long period of time will cause accidents. The consequences of drowsy state are the same as alcohol, and it will create a driver’s driving inputs poorer, destroy the driver’s reaction times, and blur driver’s thought processes.

Morphological drowsy detection

2011 IEEE International Conference on Signal and Image Processing Applications (ICSIPA), 2011
Drowsiness detection is vital in preventing accidents. Eye state analysis — Detecting whether the eye is open or closed — is critical step for drowsiness detection. In this article we proposed an innovative algorithm for detecting eyes in drowsiness detection which is based on morphology.

Drowsiness Detection with OpenCV

2021 Second International Conference on Electronics and Sustainable Communication Systems (ICESC), 2021
Dozing off while driving is one of the major causes of the road accident. It can't be completely avoided but can be prevented with this model. Drowsiness detection is a technology that is used to prevent riders from falling asleep during driving. This technology brings protection to riders and co-passengers.

Driver's Drowsiness Detection

TENCON 2019 - 2019 IEEE Region 10 Conference (TENCON), 2019
The amelioration of technology from the past 50 years accommodated a good amount of succour to the driver by providing a great level of comfort and safety in the vehicles. The accidents may occur because of many reasons and one of the reason which we are going to portray and solve in this paper is driver fatigue.

Efficient driver drowsiness detection at moderate levels of drowsiness

Accident Analysis & Prevention, 2013
Previous research on driver drowsiness detection has focused primarily on lane deviation metrics and high levels of fatigue. The present research sought to develop a method for detecting driver drowsiness at more moderate levels of fatigue, well before accident risk is imminent. Eighty-seven different driver drowsiness detection metrics proposed in the

Driver Drowsiness Detection

2017
In this chapter we propose a method to assess driver drowsiness based on face and eye-status analysis. The chapter starts with a detailed discussion on effective ways to create a strong classifier (the “training phase”), and it continues with a novel optimization method for the “application phase” of the classifier.
