DRT service, designed to be flexible in time and space, follows the contemporary trend of on-demand transit provision. However, this type of service often suffers from low profitability due to small demand and/or high operation costs.

DRT: A Novel Tool for Data Archiving
IEEE Software, 2021This article describes a novel data retirement tool (DRT) that removes data without taking the system offline and suffering increased load. Compared to Structured Query Language Delete, the standard data deletion method, DRT is superior in overall deletion time and reduced system load in Oracle.

The central task of this book is to show how English sentences give rise to semantic representations. We will refer to the semantic representations we will be constructing as Discourse Representation Structures, or, more succinctly, DRSs.

Natural Language Semantics, 2011
In this note, we reconstruct some results of the DRT analysis of presupposition projection within the theory of local contexts of Schlenker (2009). The latter offered a way to annotate every sentence with variables that denote the various local context sets that play a crucial role in Heim’s satisfaction theory (Heim 1983).

The last chapter introduced a typology of abstract entities in natural language metaphysics. To investigate and analyze the typology further, I need to give a detailed semantics of sentential and verbal nominals. In order to do this, I will introduce the semantic framework, Discourse Representation Theory (DRT), within which the analysis will take ...

Sign Language Translation via DRT and HPSG
2002We present an overview of the language-processing component of an English-Text to Sign-Languages translation system, concentrating on the role of Discourse Representation Structures as the intermediate semantic representation and the use of HPSG for synthesis of equivalent signed sequences.

In this chapter, we will describe two other applications in which we have attempted to measure the speech intelligibility using the intelligibility test defined in earlier chapters. One application is the use of speaker-dependent maskers to mask sensitive spoken dialogue from leakage.

Discourse Representation Theory (DRT) was proposed by Kamp (1981) to provide a promising framework for discourse semantics. DRT can deal with several important topics in natural language semantics, e.g. anaphora, tense and belief; see Asher (1986, 1993) and Heim (1982).

On the Design of Interface Agents for a DRT Transportation System
2009This work tackles the design and development of interface agents present in a flexible transportation system devoted to the planning, scheduling and control of passenger trips. In particular, the agent-oriented software engineering methodology (AOSE) PASSI was used. The interface agents devoted to interaction with customers and drivers are explained in
