Lactylation‐Driven YTHDC1 Alleviates MASLD by Suppressing PTPN22‐Mediated Dephosphorylation of NLRP3
In MASLD, YTHDC1 undergoes increased lactylation and ubiquitination, reducing its expression. AARS1 mediates lactylation at lysine 565, while disrupted binding to LDHA further promotes lactylation, suppressing YTHDC1. This downregulation enhances PTPN22 mRNA stability, leading to NLRP3 dephosphorylation and activation, which exacerbates inflammation ...

Bioabsorbable Endovascular Adhesive Tape (BEAT) for Improving Vascular Regeneration
A bioabsorbable endovascular adhesive tape (BEAT) platform based on a hierarchical polyelectrolyte complex is developed to enhance drug delivery in the DCB system. The coating enables rapid transfer to the vessel, provides short‐term mechanical support, and promotes both immediate transfer and long‐term retention of drugs at the lesion site.

This study reveals that dietary stachyose enriches Butyricimonas virosa, effectively attenuating metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). Mechanistically, B. virosa enhances gut thiamine monophosphate synthesis, which elevates hepatic thiamine pyrophosphate levels.

Drug-Eluting Balloon: An Overview of Clinical Evidences on Safety and Effectiveness
Background: Recent advances in the intravascular diseases have led to the entrance of drug-eluting balloon (DEB) technology. The DEB is a relatively new and easier way to treat vascular stenosis.

Current Status of Drug-Eluting Stents and Drug-Eluting Balloons for the Superficial Femoral Artery [PDF]
The endovascular management of symptomatic atherosclerotic superficial femoral artery disease is challenging and requires consideration of unique anatomic, hemodynamic, and biomechanical factors. For innovative local drug delivery technologies to have a cost-effective and clinically meaningful benefit, they must provide patency rates in more complex ...
