Erupting filaments with large enclosing flux tubes as sources of high-mass 3-part CMEs, and erupting filaments in the absence of enclosing flux tubes as sources of low-mass unstructured CMEs [PDF]
The 3-part appearance of many CMEs arising from erupting filaments emerges from a large magnetic flux tube structure, consistent with the form of the erupting filament system. Other CMEs arising from erupting filaments lack a clear 3-part structure and reasons for this have not been researched in detail.

Paracetamol induced bullous fixed drug eruptions [PDF]
Paracetamol is a commonly used antipyretic and analgesic with a weak anti-inflammatory action with a good safety profile in children and adults. This has resulted in its over prescription and large over the counter sale.

Drug Eruptions with Cases: Fixed Drug Eruption and DRESS Syndrome
Cutaneous drug reactions usually occur with mild and self-limiting lesions, but severe forms can be life-threatening. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics, and anticonvulsants often cause drug reactions. Herein, we presented two cases of immunological drug reaction, one with mild and localized fixed drug eruption and the other with more ...

This meta‐analysis compared olanexidine gluconate (OLG) with conventional antiseptics on surgical site infections (SSIs) in gastroenterological surgery. OLG significantly reduced overall SSIs without statistical heterogeneity. Abstract Aim To compare the preventative effect of the new antiseptic olanexidine gluconate (OLG) with conventional antiseptics

Near-field acoustic imaging with a caged bubble [PDF]
Bubbles are ubiquitous in many research applications ranging from ultrasound imaging and drug delivery to the understanding of volcanic eruptions and water circulation in vascular plants. From an acoustic perspective, bubbles are resonant scatterers with remarkable properties, including a large scattering cross-section and strongly sub-wavelength ...

A New Space Weather Tool for Identifying Eruptive Active Regions [PDF]
One of the main goals of solar physics is the timely identification of eruptive active regions. Space missions such as Solar Orbiter or future Space Weather forecasting missions would largely benefit from this achievement. Our aim is to produce a relatively simple technique that can provide real time indications or predictions that an active region ...

Immune Mechanisms in Drug Allergy [PDF]
Clinicians had suspected for years that drug eruptions were probably mediated by immune mechanisms because their timing suggested sensitization and specific immunologic memory rather than direct toxicity.

Abstract This article reviews the pathological changes in the enamel of permanent mandibular cheek teeth and their sequelae in European roe deer from regions polluted by anthropogenic fluoride emissions. The primary (developmental) changes of fluorotic roe deer enamel are hypomineralization and microstructural aberrations, including enamel hypoplasia ...

Multifocal Bullous Fixed Drug Erruption Due To Phenytoin: A Lesson Learned! [PDF]
Antiepileptic drugs (AED) are a common culprit of cutaneous eruptions in clinical practice. Phenytoin, lamotrigine and carbamazepine are the commonest offenders. Maculopapular eruptions are the most frequently reported events.
