A Versatile Materials Class for Solution‐Processed Optics and Photonics Based On Titanium Oxide Hydrates and Polyalcohols: A Perspective

A new, solution‐processable class of optical materials based on molecular hybrids of metal oxide hydrates and commodity polymers is discussed here, including their synthesis, processing into thin films, patterning, and photonic structures realized to date.

Supramolecular Interface Engineering via Interdiffusion for Reusable and Dismantlable Polymer Adhesion

Reversible adhesion via host–guest complex formation at the polymer interface is achieved by externally controlling the complexation through applied stimuli. Neutron reflectometry analysis of the adhesion interface revealed that the presence of host–guest complexes hinders the polymer interdiffusion by despite promoting adhesion strength.

Carbon Quantum Dots Assisted Virus Tracking: From Skin to Brain

A novel carbon quantum dots‐dissolvable microneedle, CQDs‐dMN system, enables painless delivery and real‐time tracking of HSV‐1. The HSV‐1 is labeled with fluorescent CQDs and delivered to the skin dermis, minimizing damage compared to traditional methods.
