Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Characteristics of Dry Matter Production ocess in High Yielding Rice Varieties. IV. Dry matter accumulation in the panicle.

open access: yesJapanese Journal of Crop Science, 1991
In order to clarify the characteristics of high yielding rice varieties, total dry matter production, yield and harvest index were compared in 1988 and 1989 among the two early and three medium varieties, which were used in the previous paper, with refference to dry matter accumulation in the panicle.

Dry Matter Accumulation of Four Warm Season Grasses in the Nebraska Sandhills

open access: yes, 1979
Grass development and seasonal growth patterns are used in making range management decisions. Plant development and dry matter accumulation of four warm-season grasses were studied in the Nebraska Sandhills.

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Models of sunflower hybrid productivity in the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine

open access: yesРослинництво та ґрунтознавство
The relevance of this research lies in the need to identify the specific features of productivity formation in sunflower hybrids and to establish the relationship between dry matter accumulation at different growth stages and crop yield under varying ...

Comparisons of Photosynthetic Characteristics in Relation to Lint Yield Among F1 Hybrids, Their F2 Descendants and Parental Lines of Cotton

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Agriculture, 2014
We compared the photosynthetic characteristics in relation to yield of two F1 cotton hybrids (Shiza 2-F1 and Xinluzao 43-F1), their parental lines (NT2, H2 and 4-14) and their F2 descendants at different growth and development stages.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.
