Prediction of soil nutrients through PLSR and SVMR models by VIs-NIR reflectance spectroscopy
Though soil nutrients play important roles in maintaining soil fertility and crop growth, their estimation requires direct soil sampling followed by laboratory analysis incurring huge cost and time.

Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

On the Dry Port to Dry Port-concept: Gaining a Better Understanding of the Added Value
This research is part of a project which has been initiated by the Indonesian province of West Java and the Dutch province of Gelderland. The overall aim of the project is to create a seamless multi-modal supply chain between the two provinces, whereby increasing the sustainability and (cost-)efficiency of logistics activities. It is expected that this

Chiral Phase Change Nanomaterials
This work demonstrates reversible, non‐volatile phase transitions in chiral Ge2${\rm Ge}_2$Sb2${\rm Sb}_2$Te5${\rm Te}_5$ (GST) nanohelices for high‐speed optical modulation of chirality and dynamic control of the state of polarization (SOP). The chiral nanostructures are fabricated using a highly directional, wafer‐scale physical vapor deposition ...

Controlling counterion exchange rate during aqueous phase separation enables the formation of skin‐free, homogeneously porous polyelectrolyte complex hydrogels by suppressing kinetically trapped skin layers and macrovoids. The resulting hydrogel networks exhibit exceptional toughness (∼15 MJ·m−3) and enable 3D (bio)printing and post‐functionalization ...

Mineral Deposition From Liquid Precursors Triggered by Complementary Polyelectrolytes
Polyelectrolyte additives can delay or prevent crystal nucleation in supersaturated solutions of insoluble mineral salts such as calcium carbonate. This work reports that adding a second, oppositely‐charged polyelectrolyte leads to immediate mineral crystallization from such metastable solutions.

Resonant Forcing of Oceanic and Atmospheric Rossby Waves in (Sub)Harmonic Modes: Climate Impacts
Baroclinic wave resonance, particularly Rossby waves, has attracted great interest in ocean and atmospheric physics since the 1970s. Research on Rossby wave resonance covers a wide variety of phenomena that can be unified when focusing on quasi ...

We developed a patient‐derived, functional microfluidic model of the diffuse midline glioma (DMG) blood–brain–tumor barrier (BBTB) comprised of endothelial cells, astrocytes, pericytes, and tumor cells. The system forms perfusable microvasculature, reveals the BBTB retains vascular integrity, identifies DMG‐specific transcriptomic changes distinct from
