Minimizing Energy Consumption and Costs in Textile Finishing Industrial Processes

In the present article it is proposed an effective optimization model with MILP formulation for reducing energy consumption and process costs in the finishing sector in textile industrial processes with emphasis on the sequencing of batches in stenter‐type machines. The model is strategic for decision‐making and minimizing energy consumption.
