Preclinical Efficacy and Safety Evaluation of a Novel Controlled‐Expansion ePTFE‐Covered TIPS Stent in a Swine Model

open access: yesPortal Hypertension &Cirrhosis, EarlyView.
This preclinical study evaluated a novel controlled‐expansion expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE)‐covered transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) stent in 11 swine, demonstrating 100% technical success, excellent deployability, and durable 6‐month angiographic patency without thrombosis, migration, fracture, or device‐related toxicity.

Evaluation of Sustainable Urban Design With a Focus on Spatial Organization and Climatic Analysis

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The urban heat island (UHI) effect increases with the growth of cities and population. This situation triggers global climate change, and cities are negatively affected by this situation. In this study, five provinces (Antalya, Gaziantep, Bursa, Kayseri, and Erzurum) located in different climate zones in Turkey were selected as samples ...

Covalent Functionalization of NiFe Layered Double Hydroxides using Tris(Hydroxymethyl)Aminomethane

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Covalent functionalization of NiFe layered double hydroxides with tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane enables controlled growth, enhanced structural order, and improved processability. Temporary TRIS anchoring promotes stable water‐based inks and binder‐free electrode fabrication, leading to enhanced oxygen evolution activity and long‐term stability under ...

Characterization of the Pore Environments in Covalent Organic Frameworks by Dynamic Spin Probe Exchange

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with alkyl or triethylene glycol pore linings are probed with water‐dissolved nitroxide radicals using CW EPR spectroscopy. Adsorption affinity, local polarity, and radical concentration inside the pores are quantified, revealing hydrogen bonding, dipolar, and π‐π interactions that govern guest binding, which ...

Shoreline Change Sensitivity in The Kocasu Stream Delta and The Future (2033 and 2043) Shore Change Predictions

open access: yesCoğrafya Dergisi
It is important to determine the temporal and spatial changes in coasts with high variability potential for coastal management and planning. In this respect, the aim of this study is to examine the coastal changes that occurred in the Kocasu Stream Delta

Carbon Coating Strategies to Enhance the Performance and Stability of LiMn0.6Fe0.4PO4 in Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Six unique carbon coating methods are applied to the synthesis of LiMn0.6Fe0.4PO4. The electrochemical performance of the synthesized LiMn0.6Fe0.4PO4 in full cells depends on the uniformity and conductivity of the carbon coating produced. Transition‐metal dissolution is effectively reduced when the carbon coating is optimized as a protective layer ...

Detecting shoreline change employing remote sensing images (Case study: Beris Port - east of Chabahar, Iran)

open access: yesInternational Journal of Coastal and Offshore Engineering, 2020
Coastal areas are one of the most crucial and important area in each country. They are also one the most dynamics area, which undergo significant changes in relatively short periods. Protecting coastlines from erosion and/or sedimentation thus, is one of
