Mirroring an OAI archive on the I2-DSI channel
Proceedings of the second ACM/IEEE-CS joint conference on Digital libraries - JCDL '02, 2002The Open Archives Initiative (OAI) promotes interoperability among digital libraries and has created a protocol for data providers to easily export their metadata. One problem with this approach is that some of the more popular servers quickly become heavily loaded. The obvious solution is replication.

The DSI Small Satellite Launcher
1991Three DSI Launchers were used aboard the Discovery (STS-39) in May 1991 as part of the Infrared Background Signature Survey (IBSS). Each launcher successfully deployed a Chemical Release Observation (CRO) Sub satellite which were launched under the Complex Autonomous Payload (CAP) program, an outgrowth of NASA Goddard's GAS program.

Compressive Sensing (CS) [2], [1] offers an efficient way to decrease the number of measurements required in Diffusion Spectrum Imaging (DSI). This method aims to reconstruct the Ensemble Average Propagator (EAP) and, for the purpose of this contest, we compute the numerical Orientation Distribution Function (ODF) by integrating the EAP over a solid ...

The DSI - a dynamic weather and climate index
The Dynamic State Index (DSI) is a scalar diagnostic field that indicates deviations from a steady, adiabatic and inviscid atmospheric basic state. It is defined as Jacobian determinant of the potential voticity, the Bernoulli stream function and the potential temperature.Annette Rudolph +4 more
