Inter‐platform ecosystems

open access: yesStrategic Management Journal, Volume 47, Issue 7, Page 1840-1877, July 2026.
Abstract Research Summary We extend ecosystem theory to cases in which platforms are complementors to each other: inter‐platform ecosystems. Analyzing web traffic data on 241 European platforms, we identify and characterize demand‐side inter‐platform ecosystems, and propose a theory of why they emerge.

Evolving a DSL implementation

open access: yes
Domain Specific Languages (DSLs) are small languages designed for use in a specific domain. DSLs typically evolve quite radically throughout their lifetime, but current DSL implementation approaches are often clumsy in the face of such evolution.

Validation of COSMOS DSL programs

open access: yes, 2010
International audienceCOSMOS DSL is a language dedicated to the domain of composition of context information. It allows, through its high-level constructions, to treat very large amounts of context data coming from distributed sources, whatsoever in ...

Unveiling Non‐classical Pathways in Copper Electrodeposition via In Situ Electrochemical Liquid‐Cell Transmission Electron Microscopy

open access: yesSmall Science, Volume 6, Issue 7, July 2026.
In situ electrochemical transmission electron microscopy reveals dynamic nanoparticle behavior during copper electrodeposition, from lateral motion and Ostwald ripening to coalescence and surface‐energy‐driven restructuring. These nanoscale processes occur “silently,” undetectable in bulk electrochemical signals, highlighting the importance of real ...

Oligomerization of Non‐Activated Nucleotides Under Hot Acidic Wet–Dry Cycling Without Catalytic Agents

open access: yesChemSystemsChem, Volume 8, Issue 4, July 2026.
Oligonucleotides form spontaneously through hot wet‐dry cycling of pure non‐activated nucleotides. No catalytic agents were added, and pH was naturally buffered by the nucleotides. Oligonucleotide formation was confirmed and quantified using mass spectrometry, spectroscopy and electrophoresis, establishing a solid baseline for the intrinsic extent of ...

Model checking DSL-generated C source code

open access: yes, 2012
. We report on the application of SPIN for model-checking C source code which is generated out of a textual domain-specific language (DSL). We have built a tool which automatically generates the necessary SPIN wrapper code using (meta-)information ...

A DSL for Explicit Semantic Adaptation. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In the domain of heterogeneous model composition, semantic adaptation is the "glue" that is necessary to assemble heterogeneous models so that the resulting composed model has well-defined semantics. In this paper, we present an execution model for a semantic adaptation interface between heterogeneous models.

Age‐ and Sex‐Dependent Dynamics in Pituitary Thyrotroph and Thyroid Hormones in Dromedary Camels (Camelus dromedarius): A Histochemical Approach

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 4, July 2026.
This study demonstrates age‐ and sex‐dependent regulation of the hypothalamic pituitary thyroid axis in dromedary camels, showing enlarged thyrotroph morphology in older animals and distinct hormonal patterns, including declining T4 with age‐ and sex‐related variation in T3 and TSH levels.

Formalizing DSL semantics for reasoning and conformance testing

open access: yes, 2014
A Domain Specific Language (DSL) focuses on the essential concepts in a certain problem domain, thus abstracting from low-level implementation details.
