Onasemnogene Abeparvovec in Type I Spinal Muscular Atrophy: 24‐Month Follow‐Up From the Italian Registry

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Onasemnogene abeparvovec (OA) is an AAV9‐based gene therapy for spinal muscular atrophy type I (SMA I). Real‐world outcomes show increased response variability compared to clinical trials, and follow‐up data beyond 12–18 months are limited.

DDBA-DSR: Detection of Deep Black Hole Attack in DSR

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computer Applications, 2013
A Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a self-organizing, infrastructure less, multi-hop network and mobile nodes are free to move in any network. Due to their lack of centralized control, and dynamic topology, MANETs are vulnerable to many attacks. From a security design perspective, there is no built-in security.

Role of Liquid Composition in the Transient Liquid Assisted Growth of Superconducting YBa2Cu3O7‐δ Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The Y supersaturation in the [Ba‐Cu(I/II)‐O] transient liquid composition is the driving force toward YBCO nucleation and growth in TLAG. Tuning the initial (Ba:Cu) molar ratio in the ink composition determines the YBCO epitaxial nucleation through supersaturation control.

Oceanic and atmospheric patterns during spawning periods prior to extreme catches of the Brazilian sardine (Sardinella brasiliensis) in the southwest Atlantic

open access: yesScientia Marina, 2011
Relative maxima and minima of landings of Brazilian sardine captured in the Southeast Brazil Bight (SBB) were compared with oceanic and atmospheric composites relative to the spawning period in December and January, prior to these landings.

Comparison of Evapotranspiration Partitioning and Dual Crop Coefficients of Direct-Seeded and Transplanted Rice in the Poyang Lake Basin, China

open access: yesAgronomy, 2023
Direct-seeded rice (DSR) has received much attention because of its advantages in having low labor costs compared to the traditional transplanted rice (TPR). Investigating the differences in evapotranspiration (ET) partitioning and crop coefficients (Kc)

Concurrent Terahertz Spin Excitations and Phase Shift Control in Fe4Nb2O9: A Material for Synergizing Computation and Communication Technologies

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multifunctional terahertz (THz) platform is demonstrated, in a model material Fe4Nb2O9, exhibiting a large intrinsic THz phase shift alongside distinct THz magnon excitations in its antiferromagnetic phase. This coexistence of phase modulation and spin dynamics offers a promising pathway toward integrated THz communication and magnonic computation ...

AI‐Driven Mapping of Seizure Spread Patterns

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
Objective The focus of epilepsy research has largely been on seizure onset; however, physicians typically examine the patterns of seizure spread past seizure onset as well. This study aims to align automated seizure analysis with clinical practice, leverage deep learning to standardize seizure annotations that varies among physicians, and understand ...
