Evaluation of isolated DC/DC converter topologies for future HVDC aerospace microgrids [PDF]
High performance power conversion equipment is currently gaining an increasing interest for aircraft applications. In particular, isolated bidirectional DC/DC converters are often proposed for modern HVDC aircraft distribution systems. For such reason an

This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

Modeling and control of a CLC Resonant Dual Active Bridge
This paper proposes a linear large signal state-space model for a phase controlled CLC (Capacitor Inductor Capacitor) Resonant Dual Active Bridge (RDAB). The proposed model is useful for fast simulation and for the estimation of state variables under large signal variation.

Dynamic and static performance optimization of dual active bridge DC-DC converters
High efficiency and fast dynamic response are two main control objectives for dual active bridge (DAB) DC-DC converters. Traditional extended phase shift (EPS) control can significantly enhance the conversion efficiency of DAB DC-DC converters by ...

Modular multilevel converter with modified half-bridge submodule and arm filter for dc transmission systems with DC fault blocking capability [PDF]
Although a modular multilevel converter (MMC) is universally accepted as a suitable converter topology for the high voltage dc transmission systems, its dc fault ride performance requires substantial improvement in order to be used in critical ...

For the first time, a highly sensitive electrochemical biosensor based on SiO2‐based hairy particles with a grafted PDMAEMA polymer brush containing a quantifiable and large amount of immobilized Laccase is reported. The fabricated biosensor exhibits a sensitivity of 0.14 A·m⁻¹, a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.1 µm, and a detection range of 0.3–750 µm,
