Dual‐band planar inverted‐F antenna

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2003
AbstractA new kind of planar inverted F antenna (PIFA) is presented. To reduce the size of the structure, the resonator has been curled under itself. A capacitive load is added to decrease the frequencies of higher resonances. The result is the achievement of a dual‐band antenna. Theoretical results are computed by the software design package IE3D. The

A novel dual-band LTCC chip antenna

2007 IEEE Antennas and Propagation International Symposium, 2007
In this paper, we proposed a novel dual band dielectric chip antenna for 2.45GHz Bluetooth and 5.25GHz WLAN applications, which consists of double strip meander conductor lines embedded in Low Temperature Co-Fired Ceramic (LTCC) structure. The dimensions of the proposed antenna are 5.2mm×2.0mm×1.27 mm.

Dual-band dual-polarization antenna array

2014 International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation Conference Proceedings, 2014
This paper is proposed a dual-band dual-polarization antenna array. This antenna is combined by one 2 × 2 dual-polarization patch antenna array and two 1 × 4 dipole antenna arrays operated in ISM 2.4-Ghz/5.2-GHz band. For the purpose to achieve dual band operation, the microstrip line diplexer is applied to combine two antenna operated in 2.4-GHz and 5.

A compact dual-band antenna for WLAN applications

2006 First European Conference on Antennas and Propagation, 2006
In this work a compact dual-band microstrip patch antenna for WLAN applications is presented. The two operative frequency ranges are 2.40 ? 2.50 GHz and 5.15 ? 5.35 GHz. The proposed antenna is made of two stacked patches printed on different layers, thus resulting in a planar, light structure, suitable for lowcost mass production.

Design of dual band antenna for wireless communication

Proceedings of the International Conference & Workshop on Emerging Trends in Technology - ICWET '11, 2011
A wideband micro strip patch antenna has been designed for highspeed wireless local area network ISM band (2.4GHZ). Two parallel slots are incorporated to perturb the surface current path, introducing local inductive effect that is responsible for the excitation of the second resonant mode.

A novel monopole antenna for dual-band operation

2005 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 2005
We demonstrate a novel dual-band operation antenna design utilizing a /spl and/ shape ground plane and a 50 /spl Omega/ SMA connecting to a planar patch. The proposed antenna is suitable for applications in mobile telephones for GSM (Global System for Mobile communication, 890-960 MHz), DCS (Digital Communication System, 1710-1880 MHz) and PCS ...

Multifeed EBG dual band antenna to feed a reflector antenna

2011 41st European Microwave Conference, 2011
In this paper, we present the design of a multibeam reflector antenna fed by a multifeed dual band Electromagnetic Band Gap (EBG) antenna to achieve a high gain multispot coverage for space applications. First, we design a dual band EBG antenna in monofeed configuration.

Dual-band wearable textile antenna

IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Symposium, 2004., 2004
Future utilization of smart clothing will necessitate applications of multi-function and multifrequency wearable antennas. This work addresses the development of a dual-band textile antenna for wearable applications. The antenna is for GSM operation in the 1900 MHz band and for WLAN operation in the 2.4 GHz band.

Dual-Band Microstrip Antennas

2009
Dual-band microstrip antennas are generally of two types: 1) separate microstrip resonators coupled to a transmission line, or 2) perturbed microstrip resonators where their original resonant frequencies are shifted by geometrical alteration of a basic resonator.

Analysis of a Dual Band Microstrip Antenna

2015 International Conference on Computing Communication Control and Automation, 2015
In modern wireless communication systems and increasing other wireless applications, wider bandwidth, multilane and low profile antennas are in great demand for both commercial and military applications. Since the micro strip antenna has its various advantages like low profile, small size, inexpensive cost and ability to be integrated with VLSI design.
