Analysis of a Dual Band Microstrip Antenna

2015 International Conference on Computing Communication Control and Automation, 2015
In modern wireless communication systems and increasing other wireless applications, wider bandwidth, multilane and low profile antennas are in great demand for both commercial and military applications. Since the micro strip antenna has its various advantages like low profile, small size, inexpensive cost and ability to be integrated with VLSI design.

A Compact Dual Band Antenna for IOV Applications

2015
A compact dual band antenna is designed on FR4 substrate with permeability er 4.4. The dimension of antenna is 30 X 35 X 1.5i¾?mm3. A wheel shaped antenna with slots and stubs is proposed. Coplanar wave guide feeding is made to make it simple and compact. Dual band is obtained in S11 vs. frequency plots.

Dual band tunable antenna and EBG

IET Seminar on Wideband, Multiband Antennas and Arrays for Defence or Civil Applications, 2008
Bandwidth is the limiting factor in using electromagnetic band gap materials (EBGs). Many studies have been carried out on optimizing EBG geometries to increase bandwidths with limited success. This paper will present an antenna integrated with a high impedance electromagnetic bandgap surface (HIS) that can be independently tuned over two separate ...

Review of a dual band textile antenna

2016 5th International Conference on Electronic Devices, Systems and Applications (ICEDSA), 2016
This paper shows design and comparative performance analysis for a dual band textile antenna. The resonant frequencies used were 2.4 GHz and 5.6 GHz. The performance analysis for the antennas was conducted using CST suite and HFSS simulation software. The Substrate used for the antennas design was FELT (e r = 1.44).

Dual-Band Microstrip Antennas

2009
Dual-band microstrip antennas are generally of two types: 1) separate microstrip resonators coupled to a transmission line, or 2) perturbed microstrip resonators where their original resonant frequencies are shifted by geometrical alteration of a basic resonator.

A dual band microstrip dipole antenna

2014 16th International Symposium on Antenna Technology and Applied Electromagnetics (ANTEM), 2014
This paper presents the simulation and experimental results of a dual band microstrip dipole antenna. The uniqueness of this antenna design is due to its simple structure and feeding mechanism with low manufacturing cost. The antenna is designed at a substrate with e r = 2.5 and height h = 1.58 mm for 3 and 3.5 GHz frequency bands.

A dual band V-fractal antenna

2015 International Conference on Microwave and Photonics (ICMAP), 2015
This paper describes a dual band V fractal patch antenna, designed on FR-4 substrate with dielectric constant 4.4 and thickness h = 0.8 mm. The structure resonates at 2.14 GHz (2.11–2.18GHz) and 7.91GHz (7.83–8.47GHz) bands with % bandwidth 3.37 and 8.19 respectively with average gain of about 4 dB. The antenna parameters such as S11 (dB) and radiation
