Vertical Waveguide-to-Microstrip Self-Diplexing Transition for Dual-Band Applications
This letter presents a novel vertical waveguide-to-microstrip self-diplexing transition for dual-band applications. The transition is realized with standard printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing processing, making it suitable for mass production and practical applications. A standard waveguide is screwed on the topside of the stack-up.

RETRACTED: A Survey of Five Generations of MIMO Multiband Base Station Antennas
Abstract As telecommunication systems evolve, there is an increasing demand for multi‐band MIMO base‐station antennas. Antenna arrays are generally used to support multiple frequencies with multiple ports in a compact size. However, this can result in significant degradation in scattering patterns and return loss/port isolation due to the close ...

Broadband dual‐podal multilayer Vivaldi antenna array for remote sensing applications
A novel broadband dual‐podal multilayer Vivaldi antenna array for remote sensing application is proposed in this manuscript. The design demonstrates a measured maximum gain of 9.33 dBi, Half Power Beam Width of 126.5° in the H plane, and a maximum Front‐to‐Back ratio of 14.36 dB with an overall antenna size of 29 × 21 × 1.63 mm.

Compact Dual Band Feed System for a Multifrequency Atmospheric Radar
The design, simulations and measurement results of a dual frequency feed horn operating at 35.75 GHz (Ka-band) and 94.05 GHz (W-band) are presented. The horn is designed to be used as a feed for a multifrequency atmospheric radar.

Combined signal‐interference/split‐type microwave multi‐band bandpass filters
Two classes of RF/microwave planar quad‐band bandpass filters (BPFs) that simultaneously exploit transversal signal‐interference and multi‐passband‐splitting mechanisms are reported or for experimental–demonstration purposes, two microstrip prototypes are developed and tested. Besides, as a further application, a two‐layer balanced‐circuit version with

An RF coil design to enable quintuple nuclear whole‐brain MRI
Purpose To bring metabolic imaging based on multi‐NMR toward practical use from the RF hardware perspective. Methods A highly integrated RF coil is designed for whole‐brain MRI and MRS targeted to five nuclear species: 1H, 19F, 31P, 23Na, and 13C. Dipole antennas and closely loaded local receiver loops are combined in this setup.

Abstract An integral equation technique for the analysis of multiport H‐plane microwave circuits composed of an unlimited number of arbitrarily shaped metallic and/or dielectric elements is proposed. The structure under study is divided into different regions after the application of the surface equivalence principle.

In this brief, a novel filtering impedance transformer with good selectivity and high termination impedance is proposed, of which close‐formed design equations are derived and effectively verified. Then, a dual‐band dual‐output filtering power amplifier (PA) operating at 2.4‐2.6 GHz and 3.4‐3.6 GHz is designed based on the proposed filtering impedance ...
