Data Analysis for a Dual-Channel Virus Counter

Analytical Chemistry, 2005
A simple algorithm is presented for quantitative analysis of simultaneous events on a dual-channel flow cytometer designed specifically for virus counting. The algorithm, which is based on matrix analysis of burst lag times, was evaluated using baculovirus samples that had previously been quantified by the plaque titer method.

Spectral Dual-Channel Encoding for Image Dehazing

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, 2023
In recent years, deep learning-based dehazing models have presented a momentum of dramatic growth. Unfortunately, most deep learning-based approaches heavily rely on synthetically hazed images for model training, which makes these methods brittle to restore hazy images taken from real-world scenes, due to the sample distribution discrepancy between ...

Dual-channel auditory spectrum modeling

1997 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 2002
We propose a new approach to the modeling of speech based on cues from the peripheral auditory system. Our approach attempts to incorporate the dynamic adaptation of biological auditory systems to varying sound by simplistically formulating a dual-processing strategy that treats unvoiced and voiced speech as deserving of different processing ...

Bevelled Dual-Channel Microelectrodes

IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, 1974
Preparation of bevelled dual-channel glass microelectrodes is described. The bevelled tips overcome some of the problems which complicate intracellular recording. The size of the tip opening is increased, resulting in a lower resistance, which in turn confers greater current-carrying capacity and less noise susceptibility.

Dual-Channel Microfluidic Photoionization Detector

Analytical Chemistry
Microfluidic photoionization detectors (μPIDs) have long served as a highly sensitive gas sensor in a microgas chromatography (μGC) device. However, their high electrical impedance renders them susceptible to various noise sources, often hindering their performance and bandwidth.

A model for dual channel segmentation of the EEG signal

Biological Cybernetics, 1991
Dual channel segmentation of the EEG signal has been developed. The purpose was to divide the signals into segments, according to information common for the two channels. The criterion for segmentation was based on the changes in the cross-spectrum of the two signals.

Dual-Channel Microreactor for Gas−Liquid Syntheses

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2010
A microreactor consisting of two microfluidic channels that are separated by a thin membrane is devised for intimate contact between gas and liquid phases. Gas flowing in one microchannel can diffuse into the liquid flowing in the other microchannel through the thin membrane. An oxidative Heck reaction carried out in the dual-channel (DC) microreactor,
