Dual-channel inline coherent imaging
Applied Optics, 2019We present a dual-channel inline coherent imaging system for laser machining monitoring using a single spectrometer. Sensitivity enhancement due to the added signal of the two input channels is demonstrated with a maximum sensitivity of 99 dB at a 73 kHz acquisition rate.

Spectral Dual-Channel Encoding for Image Dehazing
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, 2023In recent years, deep learning-based dehazing models have presented a momentum of dramatic growth. Unfortunately, most deep learning-based approaches heavily rely on synthetically hazed images for model training, which makes these methods brittle to restore hazy images taken from real-world scenes, due to the sample distribution discrepancy between ...

Dual channel heterodyne microscope
Journal of Microscopy, 2010SummaryHeterodyne measurement of the amplitude and phase of a cross‐polarized two‐frequency laser beam reflected from a patterned surface enables simultaneous imaging in both the amplitude and phase‐contrast modes. Such imaging duality provides additional information for inspection. Besides, spatial resolution in the phase‐contrast mode of operation is

Cooperative Advertising in a Dual Channel
2009 International Conference on Business Intelligence and Financial Engineering, 2009The focus of this paper is cooperative(co-op)advertising in today's electronic commerce(EC) market. The use of co-op advertising in a dual marketing channel has added a new dimension of competition. Our study provides an understanding of co-op advertising strategy in a dual channel supply chain under two different competitive types: Bertrand and ...

Data Analysis for a Dual-Channel Virus Counter
Analytical Chemistry, 2005A simple algorithm is presented for quantitative analysis of simultaneous events on a dual-channel flow cytometer designed specifically for virus counting. The algorithm, which is based on matrix analysis of burst lag times, was evaluated using baculovirus samples that had previously been quantified by the plaque titer method.

Dual-channel auditory spectrum modeling
1997 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 2002We propose a new approach to the modeling of speech based on cues from the peripheral auditory system. Our approach attempts to incorporate the dynamic adaptation of biological auditory systems to varying sound by simplistically formulating a dual-processing strategy that treats unvoiced and voiced speech as deserving of different processing ...

Dual-Channel Microfluidic Photoionization Detector
Analytical ChemistryMicrofluidic photoionization detectors (μPIDs) have long served as a highly sensitive gas sensor in a microgas chromatography (μGC) device. However, their high electrical impedance renders them susceptible to various noise sources, often hindering their performance and bandwidth.

Bevelled Dual-Channel Microelectrodes
IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, 1974Preparation of bevelled dual-channel glass microelectrodes is described. The bevelled tips overcome some of the problems which complicate intracellular recording. The size of the tip opening is increased, resulting in a lower resistance, which in turn confers greater current-carrying capacity and less noise susceptibility.
