Parametric dual mode transducer
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1985A dual mode transducer has the capability of high power active transmissiont two separate frequencies more than two octaves apart with broad bandwidth at both frequencies. The low frequency transducer is a standard double mass loaded longitudinal vibrator which has a head mass composed of a small array of high frequency transducers.

AbstractIn this article, a novel type of dual‐mode resonator for switchable filters is presented. The novel structure is achieved by embedding a pair of crossed slots and spur‐lines. The proposed filter provides low‐insertion loss, because there are no coupling gaps and radiation loss in feed structure.

Multilayer Dual-Mode Dual-Bandpass Filter
IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2009A dual-mode dual-bandpass filter for the U-NII bands is proposed and demonstrated. Its effective size reduction is achieved by using a multilayer configuration. The first and the third layers incorporate microstrip dual-mode bandpass filters with operating center-frequencies of f1 =5.2 GHz and f2 =5.8 GHz, respectively.

MEMS dual-mode electrostatically actuated micromirror
Proceedings of the 2014 Zone 1 Conference of the American Society for Engineering Education, 2014Micromirrors based on MEMS (Micro-electromechanical Systems) technology have been widely used in light display, optical communication and other applications. In this paper, an electrostatically actuated dual-mode micromirror device is proposed. Folded beam structure is used for piston movement and straight beams are used for torsional movement.
