Dual-mode microstrip bandstop filters
In this study, we proposed a novel bandstop filter using a square loop resonator. Dual-mode microstrip bandstop filters are designed and realized by employing two degenerate modes of a dual-mode microstrip square loop resonators. Microstrip loop resonators have been used extensively for bandpass filter applications.

Graphene-based dual-mode modulators
Mode-division multiplexing (MDM) has attracted broad attention as it could effectively boost up transmission capability by utilizing optical modes as a spatial dimension in optical interconnects. In such a technique, different data channels are usually modulated to the respective carriers over different spatial modes by using individual parallel ...

We propose exciting two modes concurrently inside a reltron's modulating cavity to increase the microwave power generated. From the harmonic components of the beam, we demonstrate that a multiharmonic beam has a higher peak and steeper gradient compared to a single-harmonic beam.

A Compact Broadband Planar Inverted-F Antenna with Dual-Resonant Modes
In this paper, a compact broadband planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) with dual-resonant modes (TM1/2,2 and TM3/2,0) is proposed for 5G applications. By loading a pair of horizontal slots on the patch, the TM3/2,0 mode can be shifted downward and combined ...
