Compact linear‐phase bandpass filters with notched frequency response employing eighth‐mode substrate integrated waveguide and dual‐mode microstrip line structure

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation
A series of fourth‐order bandpass filters (BPFs) with compact footprints, broad bandwidth, high selectivity, linear phase and notched response are proposed.

From Shear to Sound: Mechanics–Acoustics Mapping of TPMS Lattices

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) lattices are mapped across mechanical and acoustic performance, revealing that descriptors validated in compression fail under shear. First‐time comparison with trusses included. A transition from porous to resonance‐driven absorption emerges at 25% density.

Compact high linearity tunable dual-mode microstrip filters

open access: yes, 2010
A compact high linearity microstrip dual-mode tunable filter is proposed. The characteristics of the dual-mode tunable resonator are investigated. Methods of minimising the change in bandwidth across the frequency shift are discussed.

Novel Quadruple-mode, Dual-mode and Dual-band Dielectric Resonator Filters and Multiplexers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Dielectric resonators offer high-Q (low loss) characteristics which make them ideal for filters with narrow bandwidth and low insertion loss specifications. They are mainly used in satellite and wireless system applications.

Experimental and Numerical Modal Analysis of Composite Sandwich Structures Using Surfboards as Model Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents an experimental and numerical modal investigation of composite sandwich structures using surfboards as model systems. By comparing different core materials and reinforcement strategies, the study demonstrates how local stiffeners influence vibrational response and introduce characteristic modal features, highlighting modal ...

Dual Notch Microwave Sensors Based on Complementary Metamaterial Resonators

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, three dual notch microwave sensors are presented based on a microstrip transmission line and complementary metamaterial resonators. The main aim of this paper is to compare the constitutive parameters and sensitivity of all three dual ...

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron
