Dual Tasking in der Anästhesiologie - Untersuchung am Simulationsmodell - [PDF]
Objectives: In emergency situations, the need to focus one´s attention on parallel events, or dual tasking, can lead to subjective and objective stress reactions, errors and delays performing the actual action.

Postural Control and Muscle Activity during Dual-Task in Young Adults
In everyday life, we recurrently perform two tasks simultaneously, which is called dual-tasking. A common dual task is smartphone use while standing or walking. According to previous studies, this task can compromise postural stability.

Memristive‐Gated RC‐Delay Synaptic Transistors for Time‐Encoded Analog in‐Memory Computing
A Memristive‐Gated Transistor for Time‐Encoded Analog In‐Memory Computing — By exploiting the RC delay of a self‐rectifying interface‐type memristor, nonlinear I–V distortion is structurally bypassed, enabling 3‐bit nonvolatile memory, spike‐timing‐based analog encoding, and hardware‐calibrated reservoir‐computing validation within a unified device ...

Biodegradable 3D‐Printable and Coatable Antifouling Composites for Marine Applications
Marine biofouling damages submerged surfaces and raises greenhouse gas emissions. Biodegradable antifouling biocomposites were developed by hot‐mixing beeswax, Tween 80, and calcium stearate or stearic acid. Adjusting the component ratio enables processing via hot‐pressing, 3D‐printing, or dip‐coating.

An organic neuromorphic architecture for the classification of human motor behavior is presented and validated. It performs somatic integration by linearly combining the activity from three muscles. An investigation of synaptic weights is presented and discussed in relationship with the classification performance.

The effects of dual-tasking while walking naturally and on a treadmill
Dividing attention between cognitive and motor tasks, such as walking while responding to auditory cues in a conversation, is a frequent challenge in everyday life. When demands exceed available cognitive resources, performance can suffer, increasing the
