An Analysis of a Transformerless Dual Active Half-Bridge Converter

open access: yesPower Electronics and Drives, 2022
This paper proposes a transformerless dual half-bridge converter (TLDAHB). By eliminating the transformer and harnessing the possibility of using a low inductor value, it is possible to minimise the size of the converter.

Reactive Power Controller for Single Phase Dual Active Bridge DC–DC Converters

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
In this study, we have proposed a triple-phase shift power-level controller (TPSPC) that achieves zero reactive power generation by fundamental components in a single-phase dual active bridge (DAB) DC-DC converter.

Improving PARP inhibitor efficacy in bladder cancer without genetic BRCAness by combination with PLX51107

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.

Design and Optimization of Current-Fed Dual Active Bridge Converter with Dual Coupled-Inductor Structure

open access: yesEnergies
In order to reduce magnetic components for a current-fed dual active bridge converter, this paper proposes a dual coupled-inductor (DCI) structure, which integrates two DC inductors, one high-frequency transformer, and one leakage inductor into two EE ...

Developing evidence‐based, cost‐effective P4 cancer medicine for driving innovation in prevention, therapeutics, patient care and reducing healthcare inequalities

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The cancer problem is increasing globally with projections up to the year 2050 showing unfavourable outcomes in terms of incidence and cancer‐related deaths. The main challenges are prevention, improved therapeutics resulting in increased cure rates and enhanced health‐related quality of life.

Small-signal modeling comparison of dual active bridge converter

open access: yese-Prime: Advances in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Energy
The dual active bridge (DAB) converter is a versatile DC-DC converter, which has AC components in the high-frequency transformer within the converter topology as well as DC components at the input and output sides.

Device loss model of a fully SiC based dual active bridge considering the effect of synchronous rectification and deadtime [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
It is becoming a great interest to employ SiC based power devices in dual active bridge (DAB) converter as an alternative to conventional Si-IGBT, due to its higher switching frequency potential, smaller switching losses as well as the capability to ...

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

CX3CL1 in Early Detection of Alzheimer's Disease: Plasma Dynamics Across Age and Disease Stages

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Backgrounds Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterized by amyloid‐beta plaques, tau tangles, and neuroinflammation. C‐X3‐C motif chemokine ligand 1 (CX3CL1, also known as fractalkine), a neuroimmune chemokine implicated in AD pathogenesis, shows inconsistent alterations in plasma/serum across studies.
