Third‐order dual‐band filter with dual‐band admittance inverter
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2010AbstractIn this article, stepped impedance resonator with dual‐band admittance inverter is proposed to design the dual‐band microstrip filter to operate at (2.4, 5.2) GHz and at (0.9, 2.3) GHz, respectively. The proposed dual‐band microstrip filter consists of stepped‐impedance resonators (SIRs) in shunt cascaded by dual‐band inverter.

A dual-band optics design for disjoint spectral bands and for a cooled FPA sensor, sensitive to both bands, is presented. The use of special optical splitting mechanisms enables matching the optical paths of both bands to the same sensor. Reasonable optical performance and good registration were achieved for dual bands such as 8 to 12 μm together with ...

Dual-Band Transmitarrays With Dual-Linear Polarization at Ka-Band
IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2017Dual-band transmitarray antennas are demonstrated at Ka-band with the capability of forming independent linearly polarized beams with a given polarization in each frequency band, while sharing the same radiating aperture. The proposed three-layer unit-cell is based on identical narrow microstrip patches printed on both receiving and transmitting layers

Dual‐band/dual‐polarized microstrip patch antenna for dual‐band heterodyne retrodirective array
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2012AbstractThis article presents a dual‐band/dual‐polarized microstrip patch antenna. For a dual‐band retrodirective array system, the dual‐band/dual‐polarized microstrip patch antenna operating at 11 and 12.2 GHz is designed and tested. The antenna consists of one rectangular microstrip patch and a square ring outside of the patch.

Dual band/wide band waveguide polarizer
2000 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference. Proceedings (Cat. No.00TH8522), 2002The design of a wide band iris or corrugated polarizer covering two separate bands is discussed here. By making use of thick irises with close spacing, a compact polarizer with fewer irises and a shorter electrical length can be designed with high performance characteristics. Such a polarizer was built and tested.

Dual-Band dual-polarized patch antennas
International Journal of Microwave and Millimeter-Wave Computer-Aided Engineering, 1995AbstractTwo new configurations of patch antennas are introduced, which provide dual‐band and dual‐polarization operations. The two patches have a square and cross shape, and are printed on a single layer; the dual‐frequency and the dual‐polarization behavior is obtained by means of four narrow slots close to the edges.

Dual-band dual-polarization microstrip antenna
IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium (IEEE Cat. No.02CH37313), 2003The analysis of a single patch microstrip antenna based on the impedance model, emphasizing mainly the design considerations for dual-band and dual-polarization, is presented here. A length compensation technique is proposed to achieve the exact dual mode resonance with the desired accuracy.

Dual-band dual polarization microstrip antenna
IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium. Digest. Held in conjunction with: USNC/CNC/URSI North American Radio Sci. Meeting (Cat. No.03CH37450), 2004This paper describes the development of a multilayer dual-band dual-polarized antenna operating at L and C bands with a common aperture. Unlike earlier approaches, slot coupled patches are employed at both bands to reach cross-polarization suppression better than 30 dB.

Dual-band dual-polarization antenna array
2014 International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation Conference Proceedings, 2014This paper is proposed a dual-band dual-polarization antenna array. This antenna is combined by one 2 × 2 dual-polarization patch antenna array and two 1 × 4 dipole antenna arrays operated in ISM 2.4-Ghz/5.2-GHz band. For the purpose to achieve dual band operation, the microstrip line diplexer is applied to combine two antenna operated in 2.4-GHz and 5.
