Dual-Exciting Central Carbon Nanoclusters for the Dual-Channel Detection of Hemin
Constructing optical nanoprobes with superior performance is highly desirable for sensitive and accurate assays. Herein, we develop a facile room-temperature strategy for the fabrication of green emissive carbon nanoclusters (CNCs) with dual-exciting ...

Quantitative dual-channel FRET microscopy
Acceptor-sensitized quantitative Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) measurement (E-FRET) is mainly impeded by donor emission crosstalk and acceptor direct excitation crosstalk. In this paper, we develop a novel E-FRET approach (Lux-E-FRET) based on linear unmixing (Lux) of the fluorescence intensity ratio between two detection channels with each ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Dual Channel S-Band Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave Through-Wall Radar Imaging
This article deals with the development of a dual channel S-Band frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) system for a through-the-wall imaging (TWRI) system. Most existing TWRI systems using FMCW were developed for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) which

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

A precise vector voltmeter (Princeton Applied Research Model 129, operated in the two-phase lock-in amplifier mode) is used in a microwave power calibrating system to accurately measure the outputs of a network analyzer (Hewlett Packard Model 8410 with Model 8411A harmonic frequency converter and Model 8413A phase-gain indicator).

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...
