Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

On Self-Dual Four Circulant Codes [PDF]
Four circulant codes form a special class of [Formula: see text]-generator, index [Formula: see text], quasi-cyclic codes. Under some conditions on their generator matrix they can be shown to be self-dual. Artin primitive root conjecture shows the existence of an infinite subclass of these codes satisfying a modified Gilbert–Varshamov bound.

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

Phosphoinositides and inositol phosphates as molecular glues
Inositol phosphates (IPs) and phosphoinositides (PIPs) regulate diverse eukaryotic processes. Beyond recruiting signaling proteins or acting as structural cofactors, recent studies suggest they mediate protein–protein interactions as natural molecular glues.

On the generalized Hamming weights of certain Reed–Muller-type codes
There is a nice combinatorial formula of P. Beelen and M. Datta for the r-th generalized Hamming weight of an a ne cartesian code. Using this combinatorial formula we give an easy to evaluate formula to compute the r-th generalized Hamming weight for a ...

Double Cyclic Codes over \({\mathbb{F}_{q}+v\mathbb{F}_{q}}\)
In this paper, an algebraic structure of a type of double cyclic codes is investigated, which covers some existing codes as special cases. The paper presents generic results about the generating polynomials, minimal generating sets, matrices and dual ...

Self-Dual Cyclic Codes Over M2(ℤ4)
In this paper, we study the structure of cyclic codes overM2(ℤ4) (the matrix ring of matrices of order 2 over ℤ4), which is perhaps the first time that the ring is considered as a code alphabet.

Explicit MDS Codes With Complementary Duals [PDF]
In 1964, Massey introduced a class of codes with complementary duals which are called Linear Complimentary Dual (LCD for short) codes. He showed that LCD codes have applications in communication system, side-channel attack (SCA) and so on. LCD codes have been extensively studied in literature.

Duals of linearized Reed–Solomon codes
We give a description of the duals of linearized Reed-Solomon codes in terms of codes obtained by taking residues of Ore rational functions. Our construction shows in particular that, under some assumptions on the base field, the class of linearized Reed-Solomon codes is stable under duality.
