The present paper introduces and studies fuzzy conjugated pairs, with their underlying closure operators and hierarchical structure. Isotone versions of fuzzy Galois connections and closure operators are also studied, arguing that they are not dual to the antitone ones, but providing quite similar results about them.

Dual Radio Networks: Capacity and Connectivity
2007 5th International Symposium on Modeling and Optimization in Mobile, Ad Hoc and Wireless Networks and Workshops, 2007Motivated by the proliferation of dual radio devices, we consider a wireless network model in which all devices have short-range transmission capability, but a subset of the nodes has a secondary long-range wireless interface. For the resulting class of random graph models, we present analytical bounds for both the connectivity and the max-flow min-cut

Overview of LTE-NR Dual Connectivity
IEEE Communications Magazine, 2019The initial components of New Radio (NR) technology are being discussed within the 3GPP with the aim of not only satisfying the urgent needs of the 5G market but also the long-term requirements that network operators want to provide to customers. An expected solution to start delivering value immediately for the 5G systems is represented by LTE-NR ...

Uplink Power Control for Dual Connectivity
2014 IEEE 17th International Conference on Computational Science and Engineering, 2014Small cell enhancement is a key technology to meet future network capacity demands. Dual connectivity has been introduced in LTE Release 12 to enhance the LTE operation in heterogeneous deployments and improve the overall system performance. However, in the scenarios of dual connectivity, due to distributed scheduling in two eNodeBs (eNBs) connected ...

The Dual Spatial Connectives of Separation Logic
2009Separation logic has two spatial connectives *** and *** *** . It is known that *** and *** *** are not dual each other, like `and' and `or', `for all' and `there exists', `necessarily' and `possibly', etc. To define the dual connectives of *** and *** *** there are two choices: one is to take *** and *** *** as special logical connectives; another is ...

Robustness of N-Dual Fuzzy Connectives
2011The main contribution of this paper is concerned with the robustness of N-dual connectives in fuzzy reasoning. Starting with an evaluation of the sensitivity in n-order function on [0,1], we apply the results in the D-coimplication classes. The paper formally states that the robustness of pairs of mutual dual n-order functions can be compared ...

Standard Divergence in Manifold of Dual Affine Connections
2015A divergence function defines a Riemannian metric G and dually coupled affine connections (∇,∇∗) with respect to it in a manifold M. When M is dually flat, a canonical divergence is known, which is uniquely determined from G,∇,∇∗. We search for a standard divergence for a general non-flat M.
